SC Whitmore School

Columbia, SC – SC Whitmore School (SCWS), an online public charter high school based in Columbia, is excited to announce the graduation of 37 high school students during the winter of the 2024 - 2025 school year, setting a new school record for winter graduates.

Executive Director Kim Dunbar said, “I am very proud of the 2024-2025 Winter Graduates of SC Whitmore School. This milestone highlights the dedication and hard work of our students. Congratulations to all! We look forward to seeing the positive impact you will make in the world. Your success is our celebration.”

Since its founding in 2011, SC Whitmore School has graduated more than 1,000 students across South Carolina. The school has been committed to innovating educational practices by embracing technology and offering a flexible learning environment. This dedication has not only resulted in high graduation rates but also in the development of students who are well-prepared for college and career.

Families and friends will celebrate the winter graduates of the Class of 2025 at the Lexington Two Performing Arts Center on June 7th, 2025.

This year out of the 37 students one student graduated high school one year early and others graduated a semester early, compared to the traditional four years of high school.

SCWS Principal, Ebone Adams, has seen the dedication of the Class of 2025. "The winter Class of 2025 is the largest we've had at SCWS. These students were determined to finish their high school career early in the school year and they definitely accomplished that goal. We look forward to hearing about all of the great things they plan to achieve in the future."
